To create awareness of Cyber Wellness issues to the Secondary 1 students (2011)

AudienceYou are going to provide useful tips to Secondary 1 students joining SST in 2011 on the appropriate behaviour when using the learning device.
Form1. "User Guide" that will be converted into images as a "Wall Paper Package" in the Orientation Package (pre-installed in their new learning device)
2. Updated version of the Acceptable Use Policy
TimeIn time for Secondary One Registration (end-November 2010)


Directions

1. You are going to work in small groups of 4-5 on one of the following topics:
  • Group 1: Netiquette
  • Group 2: Handling Inappropriate Content
  • Group 3: Copyright
  • Group 4: Internet Addiction
  • Group 5: Computer Security
Submission of Work
  • Name the final KeyNote file as follows: Class Task 1 Topic (e.g. S1-10 Task 1 Internet Addiction)
  • Upload file to "Submit Folder" 7 Character Education
The end product should be produced using KeyNote, not exceeding 5 slides (including cover slide)

  • Topic
  • Name of members
  • A group photo
  • Class
  • Year produced

e.g. if your topic is on "Internet Addiction", say no more than 15 words, what it is?
2. You may put your description with key words or illustrate with relevant images
3. Cite resource if you include any other images in the slide

i.e. Why it is a concern? What negative impact does it create?
You may consider the impact on individuals as well as a member of the SST community.
